LAUNCHING VERY SOON!
Life can be tough at the best of times but for a seafarer, working under pressure, long periods away from family & friends, isolation, and limited social interactivity can sometimes contribute to poor mental health and emotional wellbeing. Without early recognition, intervention and support, the outcome can be in the least undesirable, and at worst, devastating.

Quay Medical has created the 'Mental Health at Sea' programme which provides regulated 'Mental Health Awareness and First Aid for Mental Health Training' for seafarers.

We firmly believe it is important to provide relevant and appropriate training for a varying audience type and therefore we provide three levels of training for seafarers. Ranging from a half day awareness course to a two day much more detailed course designed for supervisors/managers, however, any course can be undertaken by anyone who works at sea or ashore! The training can be delivered at sea or ashore, its up to you!

In addition, we will be promoting other appropriate industry organisations who provide support information and services for seafarers'.
